Dive in: A citizen science series
Citizen science is when people like you work alongside researchers to collect scientific data and contribute to research. Our series of online training sessions tell you everything you need to know about getting involved.
Playing a valuable role in change
Citizen scientists play a valuable part in our fight for a cleaner, better protected, healthier ocean - one which we can all enjoy. By working together, we can collect enough information to provide evidence-based results which we use to understand the state of our seas and campaign for change.
Taking part in citizen science projects is a great way to get outside and connect to our ocean - you don't even need to live by the coast to get involved. The information you collect contributes to real scientific research and, more importantly, it's fun to do!
