Come and join the Marine Conservation Society for a beach clean at litter survey in partnership with the Wirral Wombles and Our Dee Estuary Project, part of the Operation Seabird Winter Showcase at Hoylake (additional activities and stalls from 11am-4pm in Hoylake Community Centre).

All ages welcome. Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult. There is a cap on the number of people I can provide equiptment for, so please register your interest so you don't miss out.

All equiptment provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer (gardening gloves are fine). Please dress for the weather and bring comfortable footwear. Water in a reusable bottle is advised (beach cleaning can be thirsty work!)

We'll be kicking off promptly at 11am so please allow enough time get down to the beach and get parked. Parking can be found all along the Parade (Meols Parade, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 3AH).

Hope to see you there!

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.

29 spaces remaining - join us on the beach whilst there’s still spaces!
