Speaking up for the ocean in your area, you'll play an important role in our fight to secure healthy seas.
Once trained, you'll help to raise awareness about the Marine Conservation Society, our work and marine conservation issues, by acting as a Marine Conservation Society media spokesperson in your local area. You’ll be talking about our work and activities, including our flagship Great British Beach Clean event – this could be speaking on your local radio, on camera for TV pieces or to the local press.
- Opportunities will be arranged by our Media & Communications team who will help to brief you ahead of any activities. For all projects where you offer your time and support, you’ll be provided with a key messages document and have the opportunity to ask questions.
- You'll represent the Marine Conservation Society brand and our values, and will receive training to help you embody our brand.
- You'll be helped every step of the way with training, briefings and support from our team.
