Big Blue Dash

Raise awareness of our awe-inspiring seas and marine wildlife by throwing an ocean themed fun run at your school.

Organising a Big Blue Dash is simple:

STEP ONE: Set a date

Pick the perfect day for your Big Blue Dash. You might like to tie it in with World Ocean Day on 8th June, celebrate as part of your activities week, or wait until the end of the summer term when the sun is shining and spirits are high.

STEP TWO: Plan your route

Your dash can be as big or as simple as you like, from a quick jog around the playground to an ocean-themed obstacle course. It could even take place in a PE lesson- the world is your oyster!

STEP THREE: Get creative

Transform into a school fish- make your own ocean themed costumes or head dresses made of litter and recycled products.

Not Keen on Dressing Up?

No problem! Why not ask everyone to wear blue instead, or create ocean-themed decorations around your course?

STEP FOUR: Start fundraising

We’ll help set you up with your very own seascape fundraising page which can be easily shared with friends, family and the local community. With every donation made, you will be filling your ocean scape with marine life, demonstrating the impact you’ll be making on our ocean.
