Marking the loss of Her Majesty The Queen

As a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we're rearranging some of our events. Read more here.

UPDATE: 12th September 2022

There will be some changes to events during our 10-day Great British Beach Clean.

The Great British Beach Clean will be going ahead as planned from Friday 16th September. However, beach cleans organised by our staff on Monday 19th September, the day of the Queen's state funeral, have been cancelled. If you've registered to take part in a beach clean on this date, we'll be in touch shortly.

Beach cleans organised by volunteers may still be going ahead, at the discretion of the organiser. If a beach clean is cancelled or postponed, you'll be contacted by the organiser as soon as possible.

Organisers, please consider the timings of your scheduled beach cleans on 19th September, and where possible arrange outside of specific funeral times.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

If you decide to cancel or postpone please notify those taking part first, before selecting the ‘cancel event’ option in your volunteer dashboard.
