The Prize Draw is open to UK and Channel Island residents aged 18 and over who register a Great British Beach Clean 2026 event on the Marine Conservation Society’s website by 23:59 on 31st July 2026.
Employees or agencies of the Marine Conservation Society, their family members or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.
Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
To enter the Prize Draw, you must register a beach clean on the Marine Conservation Society’s website for the Great British Beach Clean, which takes place between 18th-27th September 2026. Eligible registrations received by the closing date are automatically entered into the Prize Draw; no further action is required. Entry to the Prize Draw is free; no purchase or payment is required. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please e-mail us at beachwatch@mcsuk.org.
Only one entry to the Prize Draw per person; entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
The Marine Conservation Society accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, cannot be delivered or entered due to technical issues or other reasons beyond its control. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by the Marine Conservation Society.
The Prize Draw closes at 23:59 on 31st July 2026. Beach clean registrations received after this time will not be considered.
The winner will be chosen using a computer-generated random selection tool after the Prize Draw closes, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
There will be one winner and the prize will consist of a Marine Conservation Society shop bundle.
Any beach clean organisers wishing to opt out of the Prize Draw may do so by e-mailing us at beachwatch@mcsuk.org. Opting out only removes you from the Prize Draw and does not affect your beach clean registration.
The Marine Conservation Society accepts no responsibility for any costs not specified as part of the prize.
The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the Prize Draw closing. If the winner does not respond to the Marine Conservation Society within 28 days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited and the Marine Conservation Society will select an alternate winner using the same random selection process.
The prize will only be delivered to an address in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) or Channel Islands, provided by the winner. The Marine Conservation Society is unable to deliver the prize outside the United Kingdom. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their contact details are accurate.
The name and county of the winner may be published on the Marine Conservation Society’s website and/or social media channels. By entering the Prize Draw, entrants agree to this publicity unless they notify the Marine Conservation Society otherwise.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
The Marine Conservation Society retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
The Marine Conservation Society shall use, and take care of, any personal information you supply as described in its privacy policy ( Privacy policy | Marine Conservation Society ) and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry.
The Marine Conservation Society reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Prize Draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to technical issues, suspected fraud, or events rendering the Prize Draw unable to operate as planned. The decision of the Marine Conservation Society in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
