Join Us for a Community Beach Clean!

As part of the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean week, the Worthing Borough Council’s Coastal Office team is proud to host a community beach clean, and we’d love for you to get involved!

Whether you're a local resident, visitor, or passionate about protecting our coastline, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to our marine environment.

We’ll provide litter pickers, collection hoops, and bags - and we’ve even got child-friendly pickers for our younger eco-heroes!

Come along, get stuck in, and help us keep our beautiful beaches clean.

<br /> For more information or if you have any questions, please call 01903 238977 and ask for Kellie.

Let’s protect our coast together!

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.

19 spaces remaining - join us on the beach whilst there’s still spaces!
