Join the Marine Conservation Society for a family-friendly beach clean and litter survey on Llandudno's beautiful north shore beach.

All ages welcome. Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult. As there is a cap on the number of people we can provide equipment for, please register your interest so you don't miss out.

Equipment:

All equipment will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer (gardening gloves are fine). Please dress for the weather and bring comfortable footwear. Water in a reusable bottle is advised.

Getting to the clean:

MCS encourage sustainable transport to beach cleans wherever possible. Llandudno train station is a short 10 minute walk from the beach, and local bus routes are also available.

Parking spots can be found all along North and South Parade next to the prom (LL30 2LN), however, spots do fill up quickly at the weekend, so we would recommend getting down early if you require parking close to the beach. Other, larger car parks, are also available around Llandudno town.

Hope to see you there!

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.

16 spaces remaining - join us on the beach whilst there’s still spaces!
