Fistral Beach Great British Beach Clean 2025
Join this beach clean to help us stop harmful litter from reaching the ocean and collect vital data that we can use to bring about positive change for our seas.
Become a citizen scientist for the morning and take part in a beach clean and litter survey to help us report on what litter is being found. All beach cleaning equipment is provided.
**Accessibility**: We want to ensure this event is as accessible as possible. Please talk to us ahead of booking if you have any health conditions, access needs or Special Educational Needs and we will do our best to support your participation.
If you have any questions or access needs, please contact tom.crawford@mcsuk.org
More on accessibility at Fistral
Walking down Headland road to the car park and then a sandy slope down onto the beach.
There is parking at North Fistral or off Headland Road towards Little Fistral, but the main Car Parks along Tower Road have easy access via the footpath across the Golf course (5-10 minute walk) with steps down through the dunes.
Public toilets are available at the back of the beach as well.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch.
I look forward to meeting you all.
Also worth knowing…
What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).
What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.
Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.
